Note that this price match guarantee only applies to “advertised prices”. Due to this, the guarantee is not as strong as Rona’s competitors, which will match on most in-store items. Matches against the Rona flyer items with a competitor’s flyer will usually be successful.

If you can go to the store with a current Rona flyer and a current competitor's flyer printed on newsprint (not printed from the Internet), then this will increase the probability of success substantially. These price matching opportunities are very rare, making this one of the least utilized price matching policies.

Rona does give Air Miles loyalty miles with purchases (even price matches), so price matching at Rona provides the additional benefit of the loyalty miles.
